For my contirubtion to Project Biennale, I asked eight artists to come up with the title of a work that might have been displayed in a space that surrently exists in a public area in Sheffield.

By implying that I was been too late to document the works themselves and could only see the site of the work, I hoped to give that feeling a town has after the circus has left. As Morrissey said in Still Ill: "...there are brighter sides to life, and I should know, because I've seen them. But not very often..."

Each piece therefore acts as a ghost, or trace of something that might, or might not have happened.

I hoped that the pages within Project Biennale would look like a plate section adrift from text.
