THE BIG DRAW

BEATRIX POTTER GALLERY, 2005

During October 2005 I was invited to run a Big Draw event at the Beatrix Potter Gallery, Hawkshead. Over four days we had about 70 children through the very small space. A worksheets was produced which included book illustrations to which children added their work I also set up some still life material in the largest room of the gallery in order that children could see that Potter drew from life and was an accomplished draughtswoman.
