I'll Tell You Where You Can Stick Your Modern Art!20th - 30th March 2006, Kirkby Stephen Bus Stop. Co-curated with Steve Messam, Fold Director, this brief show (not quite two weeks in the only bus shelter in Kirkby Stephen) shows Street Art in the form of stickers and stencils from all over the world. I was responsible for sourcing the images for the show. Most of this was done by looking online and finding artists whose work looked suitable. They were then contacted directly and asked to submit stencils and/or stickers. The show was hung by Steve and me on low tack transparent plastic and then mounted onto the shelter itself. See the Fold website for further details and images. |
