I propose to read 'A Clockwork Orange' out loud in public places that resemble the settings for the scenes in the book. The performance could be filmed and then edited to include an ongoing glossary - in real time and overlaid onscreen - to explain some or all of the horrowshow wordys.

I used to live in Abbey Wood, which is where the film was made, but didn't realise at the time that that was where it was filmed. It's a place full of droogs and malchicks.Although it would be nice to film again in those locations, it would seem too much of a homage to the film, rather than the book.In a world of ASBO's and hoodies, it seems that this work needs re-evaluating (again). It seems prescient and informative.

Recontextualising the work within contemporary public spaces seems like an obvious thing to do.
