Bryan Eccleshall - 1 Slater Street

I bought three double sided watercolours (F Jempson 1993) from the large Age Concern Shop near Art Gene. While I was wandering around that area I noticed a non-descript building that had been a house, a workshop and a video rental shop - Hollywood Nights. It's now boarded up. It seemed to sum up the whole re-generation idea and incorporate and fantasy life in that the Hollywood Nights sign was still on the building. It was sad but showed some ambition. I decided to make a model of the building using the watercolurs I had bought.

Badges were made from the remaining bits of the watercolours. I kept the shapes that were the results of my cutting.
