THE LAST TREE I EVER CLIMBED

It occurred to me that there are events in our lives which were once commonplace but, for one reason or another, stop happening and we find it hard to pin down when that change took place.

This is my memorial to my tree climbing days. Obviously I couldn't remember when I did last climb a tree so I had to go and find one. The one I used is near Caldbeck, Cumbria.

I still have the plaque just in case I have to climb a tree in the future.
