THE WHOLE WORLD IS LIKE THIS

I propose to fence off a gallery which has an exhibition within it, The exhibition itself is not important, unless something brilliant occurs to me.

On arrival at the gallery visitors are met by two bouncers who decide whether or not they are VIPs. The criteria for this decision is set daily and based entirely on prejudice - single women, parents with children, Japanese tourists, whatever.

Those that are deemed VIPs are allowed in for nothing and get a free catalogue. They also get the use of a lounge area reserved for them and, if they want it, a personal guided tour of the show, perhaps by the artist.

No-one else is excluded and they do get whatever they would have expected on arrival. The special treatment that the VIPs receive should be evident to any other visitors.

A visitors book ought to be prominent to collect comments.
